It has been said "that if we don't learn from history we are bound to repeat it".  Just look back throughout history and you will easily this statement is verified. That includes Biblical history.  The "father of lies", Satan, has been busy changing history through his lies since the dawn of mankind in the  garden.  By twisting the scriptures, he caused man to sin against God and His word...and continues right up to this moment. 

The latest "lies" in some of today's religious communities are not new, but are the same packages wrapped in new paper.  Example: The message of  inclusion - "All are accepted because we all are going to the same destination, we're just going through different doors or paths. SCRIPTURE SAYS THAT IS A LIE!  "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many I tell you will try to enter and will not be able." Luke 13:24). Look also at Matt. 7: 13,14 for more truth.

"Churches should be less exclusive and more inclusive."  Scriptures teach unity, but only under certain conditions: Eph. 4:3-6; 1Peter 1:22-25.

The new Pope Francis made recent remarks that "the church has become too focused on "“small minded rules"  referring to these hot-button issues: abortion, and homosexuality.  Jesus didn't think God's word was 'small minded rules' and reminded us to be careful what we say (Matt. 12: 36-37; 1Timothy 4:1-2).

We need to remember that there is a vast difference in what Satan claims, using the mind and mouths of men, and what the power of the Spirit of God, the Word, declares. (John 16:13).  Scripture is all authority in all things  (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and is never small minded nor does it condone the lies of Satan!
