God causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, sending His rain on the just and unjust (Matthew 5:45). That is God’s toleration. While that scripture expresses God’s toleration, He quite clearly states what is evil and unjust that He, for the moment, tolerates.
Where does God place the homosexual, lesbian and gay marriage lifestyle?? God’s Word answers: “Therefore, God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them...For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire towards one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error” (Romans 1:24-27). God’s Word further warns: “Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9, 10).
Also, it needs to be noted that after God gives the long list of what is evil and sin in Romans 1:18-31, He adds “that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practice them” (Romans 1:32 AS).
Therefore, if one who practices such sins (idolaters, fornicators, adulterers, drunkards, homosexuals, lesbians, etc.) should come into my business, my wedding chapel, asking me to perform a gay marriage, or carry on in a drunken lifestyle—and I responded with a clear and distinct “NO!” - That is not discrimination! That is freedom of speech and freedom of religion (allowed by the U.S. Constitution), plus a determination to avoid God’s wrath by consenting to your sinful and immoral lifestyles (as stated in God’s Word!) That is not being a bigot—that is being biblical!
Should you want my services, I would welcome the opportunity to share with you how you could be washed, sanctified, and justified, as were those immoral souls at Corinth (I Corinthians 6:11; Acts 18:1-8; Mark 16:15,16). Such is the God-given pattern of Truth and toleration, morality and separation from sin. That would stop devilish discrimination, promoting peace and purification!
