Billy Graham Jr. has come to Oklahoma City and stated some things that needed to be said. It reminds one of how the Demons cried out the truth about Jesus, affirming that “You are the Son of God” (cf. Luke 4:41; 8:28; Matthew 8:29). Note some true and solid statements he made: “We’re here today because our nation is in trouble. We’re in trouble spiritually, racially, economically, politically and ...there’s no political party that’s going to be able to turn this thing around…” 

“I have zero hope in the Democratic Party...I have zero hope in the Republican Party...My hope is in Almighty God.” Further appeals were made for people to “confess their personal sins, their family sins and American’s sins,” which he said included, “abortion, same–sex marriage, pride, materialism, racism...and an entertainment industry that promotes sex and violence.” He further added, “Don’t be afraid to express biblical convictions-even when others call you ‘combative’ and ‘intolerant’...I’m all for being nice, but I think we need to stand for truth...What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong.” (“Evangelist Visits Metro On ‘Campaign For God’,” The Oklahoman, April 28, 2016, pg.5A). 

Let there be a solid “Amen” sounded for his expression that we “need to stand for truth.” Note God’s reaction in a yesterday toward His people and their prayer in II Chronicles 7:12-14, as to what God expected from the people for Him “to heal their land!” Also note Jesus also prayed that we might be one, like God and Christ are one, so that the world may believe that God did send Jesus Christ (John 17:17-21). Let us, Billy Graham, and all others, who claim to follow God and Christ, present God’s plan for all to be saved and to be one in Christ Jesus (cf. Matthew 28:18- 20); Hebrews 5:8,9; Acts 2:36-47; Romans 6:1-17; Ephesians 4:1-6, etc.). Then God will surely supply, or meet the needs of, our nation (Colossians 3:17; Romans 13:1-10; 3:4). Unity + Truth can overcome sin and heal any nation!!
