Honest, he not only wants you, but he is going after your kids!!

Satan's "native language" is the lie - for he is "the father of lies" (John 8:44  NIV)        Consider the lies he's telling your children:

1.   "It's Ok to 'Do your own thing!'"  

Collins English Dictionary says,  "If you do your own thing, you live or act in the way you want to, without paying attention to convention or depending on other people."  The Wicca cult takes it even further saying, " As long as it doesn't hurt someone, do what you want".

2.  "Hollywood won't hurt you...it's just make-believe!"  Much of TV, printed materials, video games, etc. desensitize all of us to violence, sex, and other sinful activities.  We begin to accept the unacceptable according to the instructions given of God.

3.  "The internet is safe, Don't worry over becoming addicted through 'surfing the internet".  Satan uses this thought to justify pornography, 'sexting', and all sorts of  violence.  It's been said that the eyes are the window to the soul.  What are your kids looking at?    Prov 30:12..."There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness. NKJV

4.  "Homosexuality is OK".  The latest lie is "Bert & Ernie" of Sesame Street were Gay!  Satan uses any angle to sway your children and you.  (Incidentally, puppets have no sexual orientations.)

5.  "You don't need God or church worship...that's just old fashioned, like your Mom or Dad".  Perhaps Mom or Dad feel the same way - especially on Sunday or Wednesday night Bible study. Satan will use us parents to help him claim our children. (example: "Sports or school activities are more important than church")  True, they are important, but where are our priorities?

The solution I believe is to "get after God's word".  Study with your children, get them to church as much as possible and pray for deliverance. (2 Peter.2:9)
