Audrey Hepburn’s Beauty Tips

My sister, Vickie sent this to me and asked me to share this beautiful woman’s message with her special Oklahoma ladies and give them her love… so I will. (Ditto from me also)

It is a wonderful poem written by Audrey Hepburn when she was asked to share her ‘beauty tips’. It was read at her funeral, years later.
I think it falls in line with scripture, (I stuck in some examples). So to our beautiful ladies and those enjoying a make-over, here it is with Christian love.

For attractive lips: Speak words of kindness.
1 Peter 4:11 a…If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.

For lovely eyes: Seek out the good in people.
1 Cor 10:24…Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

For a slim figure: Share your food with the hungry.
Matt 7:12…So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

For beautiful hair: Let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
Matt 18:4-5…Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.”

For poise: Walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
Matt 28:20b “…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age.”

“Remember if someone, even yourself, needs a helping hand…you will find one at the end of each of your arms. God gave us two, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others”. And remember our strength comes from the Lord. Phil 4:13… I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
We are all beautiful to God. As someone said, “God don’t make no junk!”
