Increasing Insanity
God designed our minds to function in sync with his own. When one turns his mind away from God, the only possible result is insanity.
Jesus’ apostle Paul wrote the following to the saints in Rome (1:21-22):
- “…but they became futile in their speculations”
- “…their foolish heart was darkened”
- “Professing to be wise, they became fools”
“Futile speculations”? The so-called theory of evolution qualifies. It requires life to arise from non-living material, when real science proves that it cannot. It demands an infinite amount of new genetic information arise by accident…… and work! It calls for order, life and yes, even the consciousness you are using right now, to result from an explosion.
“Foolish hearts darkened”? What could be darker than commerce based on murdered and discarded babies? If we had read of the buying and selling of tiny human organs in some ancient nation in a history book, we would have recoiled in disgust from such barbaric depravity. Our fellow-citizens, however, support and encourage it.
“They became fools”? What could be more foolish than to attempt to eliminate gender among humans as is happening on college campuses in California and Tennessee? Do people not realize that the propagation of humanity relies completely on our uniqueness as men and women? What could be more “sexist” than to neglect, nullify or denigrate one’s masculinity or femininity?
Need I say more? Who believes that more laws will control those already committed to lawlessness? Why have those who’ve made our policemen and women targets not been called to account? Why, after thousands of years would we redefine marriage to include what nature itself scorns? Why are the most intolerant people on the planet the ones who clamor for tolerance? Why demand the minimum wage be increased when you can’t even get the correct number of hamburgers in the bag for what you’re making now? Why create legislation that actually only affects the insurance industry and then call it “health care reform”?
No wonder the ancient wise man wrote: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding”, Proverbs 9:10
