Dear Choctaw Church of Christ,
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support you provided following the tornado. Your volunteer’s efforts to remove debris from property were truly a blessing. Not only did your team work tirelessly to clear the damage, but their compassion and willingness to step in during such a difficult time brought a sense of peace and hope.
Your actions have made a lasting impact and I will always be grateful for the care and kindness you’ve shown. I’m thankful to have experienced it first hand through your church community.
Sincerely, Jen Hudson
The above was written to our church in Choctaw for all of the efforts made by our Disaster Relief Team after the storms this past November.
Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus… Philippians 2:1-5
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
