Just a crumpled but clean napkin I was about to toss. Then I remembered the many times I would have given anything for a napkin or a Kleenex.
So I kept this one.
I can’t help but be reminded by it of folks who disregard Jesus as if he were no more than a simple piece of paper in which they see no immediate value. The day will come, however, when they will need him. Then, it will not be an embarrassing inconvenient hygiene problem they face but the loss of their very souls.
Outer darkness, sobbing, grinding your teeth in agony & regret, pain meant only for the devil & his angels. No one spoke more of the horrors of hell than Jesus. He came to save us from that, to suffer in our place so we won’t have to.
The fear of what is coming for those who die without Christ compels me to keep talking to people about Him and what he has done in my life.
Don’t wait until you are ready to tell someone. Don’t think you need to be trained or “qualified” in some way. Mention Jesus to someone you know who is lost and let God take it from there. Remember, he is working too.
Don't just save a napkin, save a soul.
