How Strong Is Your Stomach?

Just wondering if the average “Joe” is at all familiar with modern abortion techniques? I thought that since, among other reasons, this is a hot political issue, you should be aware of just how some of them work. You may want to sit down before you read these.

First there is the “suction aspiration method” which utilizes a very powerful vacuum. The vacuum hose is inserted into the mother’s womb and literally sucks out the placenta and the baby tearing them to pieces in the process.

Next is the “dilation & curettage method”. This technique also uses suction except that in this case a hook shaped knife is used to dismember the child before it is vacuumed away.

Then we have the “dilation & evacuation method” also called “D & E”. This approach uses toothed forceps to grasp the baby within the womb and tear it out piece by piece. With larger babies, the spine is usually broken in two and the skull crushed to facilitate removal from the mother.

With the “salt poisoning method” a strong saline solution is injected into the baby’s sac where the baby swallows some of the solution and is poisoned. The salt also acts as a corrosive burning off the outer layer of the baby’s skin. It usually takes a little over an hour for the baby to die, and in about twenty-four hours the mother will go into labor with the idea being that she will give birth to a dead child. But the little fellows aren’t always dead when they come out and so must be dealt with anew. In the “prostaglandin chemical method” chemicals are used to induce the mother into early labor and intensely stronger contractions with the intention that they will either crush the baby or tear it apart during delivery. Though generally effective, some babies are yet born alive.

The “hysterotomy method” or “caesarean section method” is one in which the womb is en-tered surgically and the umbilical cord is cut resulting in suffocation of the baby. Some doc-tors (?) wait until the baby dies to remove it, but others go ahead and remove the child and allow it to die outside of the mother.

Last to be described here, is the “partial-birth method”. Are you seated? The doctor uses forceps to pull the baby’s legs into the birth canal and out of the mother. When all but the head is through, scissors are inserted into the back of the baby’s skull opening a hole into which a vacuum tube is inserted that sucks out the brains, collapsing the little head, allowing easy removal of a dead child.

In 2005, about 3,290 abortions were performed per day in the U.S.

Do I really need to quote you any scripture?

May God help us.
