Jill Newman, M. Ed., LPC

Jill is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor from Shawnee Oklahoma. Jill owns a private practice, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also trained in Guttmann Couples Therapy. Jill is a former educator, is trained in critical incident stress management and currently works with Warrior’s Rest Foundation and Concerns of Police Survivors National Organization where she responds to critical incidents such as line of duty deaths and suicides. She works to help families and coworkers of fallen officers both at the national children’s camp, spouses retreat and national police week. Jill has been happily married to her husband Destry for 27 years. She enjoyed supporting him as he served in children’s ministry for over 15 years. Together they have three children, two of which are married to wonderful spouses.
